First of all, I live in the northwestern part of Paraguay, South America, in a german speaking community called Filadelfia. I'm Canadian by birth, but my parents moved there before I was born and then back here when I was 11.
I am 41 years old, married to Rudolf for almost 18 years, and we have 4 children.
I always wanted to be a young mom, as in be done having my kids at 30,
but that's when I actually started.
Nicole is 11. She will be starting 5th grade in February
Raquel is 9. And she'll be in 4th grade this year.
Esteban (Stevie) is 6 and will be starting elementary school. First grade.
And my baby Joseph is 4 and will be starting Kindergarten.
So as of February 16th I will be having most mornings to myself, and though I'll cry a little bit at first, I am looking forward to it. I'll miss having my funny little Joseph with me alone all morning, he really enjoys momma-time. But I know he'll be in good hands and will learn alot of good and helpful things in class (and probably some bad word along the way).
Have a great day!
Casey
Hi! This is Angela, Mir's co-pilot for the E2E challenge.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful family!! Stevie looks mischievous, for sure. And yes, you will cry a bit when the baby goes to kindergarten, and then you'll realize that you can go back to bed for an hour and catch a nap after so many years of sleep deprivation!
I'm meeting more and more friends who have four children rather than the requisite two. My husband and I have four, also. I always laughed when people would ask me "How do you manage FOUR?". Seriously, not more difficult than two, except when they all need new shoes at the same time. As in back to school time, when each child needs new school shoes AND new sneakers AND whatever special athletic or dance shoes for the sport season. I remember coming home from a shopping trip, shocked that I had just purchased 12 pairs of shoes at one time.
Again, thank you for sharing pictures of your beautiful children - it's so nice to get to know you and your family.
You have a lovely family, Casey. Thanks for sharing the photos. I wish you all the best.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful set of kids! You're so lucky! With kindergarten starting you'll get to have a little alone time. Sad at first, VERY PRODUCTIVE LATER. :) One of my friends just sent her son off this last fall for kindergarten. It's given her time to shop, work out, clean or best of all NAP.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the pics! Such a beautiful family! :)
ReplyDeleteCasey, did you know you and Betty live in the same area? I didn't until tonight. I love that you shared your family. It's so much fun seeing what other families look like and how much they love each other. It's so cool.
ReplyDeleteTake care my friend. Can't wait to hear your week. Keep in touch. Blessings my friend.
Enjoyed your pictures....I only had 2 but i also had them in my 30's......the problem is that they sometimes don't seem to understand how old i am now....though if I lose some of this weight I may not be as tired.
