First Post

So, after reading a  lot of  blogs, I've decided to take the plunge into the world of blogging!
Another weight loss blog!
Why Casey's 279?
Well, Casey is my pen name! : )
And 279 is the amount of pounds I put on the scale! : (
I really don't know where to start with blogging - I'll probably be journaling my struggles and victories, posting my weight and measurements, and what I've eaten.
I'm hoping to post daily entries, weekly weigh-ins and monthly pictures.
I'm looking for encouragement and accountability, and plan to give it, too.

  1. Casey, your beginning size is close to alot of my measurements.
    Mine was (and for you to know, no one knows these but it's time to share with special people)
    Waist - 48"
    Bust - 50"
    Hips - 47"
    Arms - 15.5"
    Thighs - 27.5"
    These were taking 1/2/10
    Last month I was looking at
    waist - 40"
    Bust - 44"
    hips - 43.25"
    Arms - 12.75
    Thighs - 20"
    I also took my neck size it was 18" now 14.75"
    Calves too - 15.5" and now 14"
    Slow and steady is the only way to go. I think it'll be easier to keep off for my life time taking it slow and easy. Well easy isn't the right word because this has been anything but easy but a must. I'm to young to be fat for the rest of my life. I'm not 50 yet and plan to live to be 101 so healthy is the only way to be.
